I exhibited some of my works at a photo festival "Marfa Open" at Marfa, Texas, U.S.A. It was great honor to me to be invited and taking part in it as a featured artist in the festival. Marfa is located in Texas, and is one of the famous place for contemporary art in US, also famous as the location for the film "Giant" featuring James Dean and Elizabeth Taylor.

 

The exhibition had a tour for showing works at 3 towns, Terlingua, Alpine, and Marfa. Literally we stopped and went at each town, and installed our works for a day, then headed to next town. Also we had a chance to present our project using big screen and nice audio equipment at The Crowley Theater.

In this festival, I prepared 3 series "Memorial", "If", "Time Lapse" and a puzzled work "The Garden is Becoming a Robe Room". Each works are regarded as 1 story, and also you could regard these 4 works as 1 big story as well, like a omnibus film.
